This 10 week course is aimed at beginners. Each week one or two topics will be covered to enable you to gain confidence and the skills to create your own watercolour paintings. A variety of techniques and subjects will be covered. The handout and video link will be emailed to you by 11.00am each Wednesday, so you can work on them at your convenience within the 10 weeks of the course.

These could include: Instructions as a handout sent via email; video/photographic demonstrations by tutor delivered via Youtube; individual practice by student including homework and project work; individual feedback on student's work via email; etc.
Students’ quality watercolour paints (e.g. Winsor& Newton ‘Cotman Student Watercolour’), good quality ‘Bockingford’ watercolour paper (size A4 140lb (300gsm), ‘NOT’ (or cold pressed) surface), a variety of soft watercolour brushes, 2 large pots for water, drawing board to attach paper, masking tape, pencil (HB), sketch pad, newspaper or plastic table cloth to protect table, apron or similar to protect clothes.
